Community Resources to Support the Well-being of Older Adults in Greater Fort Erie
Strong Fort Erie Neighbourhoods (SFEN) is a not-for-profit corporation run by volunteers. The volunteers use a community development approach to address neighbourhood-specific barriers and strengths. SFEN’s mission is to support individuals within the community in reaching their full potential, and to promote equal opportunities for good health and community engagement.
To promote the health and well-being of older adults in Fort Erie, SFEN’s Age-Friendly Working Group has identified a network of community resources that can support the residents of Fort Erie.
This document highlights the names of agencies and programs which older adults in Fort Erie can access. These agencies offer a variety of services including community services, exercise and rehabilitation programs, non-medical home care, medical home care, caregiver support, and many more.
